الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):
إنّ اللّه تعالى أطلع الى الأرض فاختارنا و اختار لنا شيعة ينصروننا و يفرحون لفرحنا و يحزنون لحزننا و يبذلون أنفسهم و أموالهم فينا فاؤلئك منّا و إلينا و هم معنا في الجنّة
Verily, Allah looked upon the earth and chose us (i.e. Ahl al-Bayt), and He chose for us followers [Shi'a] who help and support us, become happy for our happiness, and grieve for our grief, who are ready to lay down their lives and give away their wealth in our cause. They are from us, [headed] towards us, and will be with us in Paradise.

author
The author of this book is Nasih al-Din Abu l-Fath 'Abd al-Wahid b. Muhammad b. 'Abd al-Wahid Tamimi al-Amidi (d. 510/1116-7)[1]. Very little is known about his life apart from that he was a judge from Amid (now Diyarbakır, Turkey).[2] He has written another book called Jawahir al-kalam fi al-hukm wa al-ahkam min qissat sayyid al-anam.
