الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السَّلام ):
الكِذبُ مَذمومٌ إلّا في أمرَينِ: دَفعِ شَرِّ الظَّلَمَةِ، وإصلاحِ ذاتِ البَينِ.
Lying is disparaged except in two situations: to repel the evilness of oppressors and to reconcile between people.
