الإمام الكاظم (عليه السَّلام):
إنّ المَرءَ إذا نامَ فإنّ رُوحَ الحَيَوانِ باقِيَةٌ في البَدَنِ، والذي يَخرُجُ مِنهُ رُوحُ العَقلِ.
En vérité, lorsque l homme dort, son âme animale reste dans son corps, et ce qui quitte le corps est l âme rationnelle.
