الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):
أسعد النّاس من عرف فضلنا و تقرّب إلى اللّه بنا و أخلص حبّنا و عمل بما إليه ندبنا و انتهى عمّا عنه نهينا فذاك منّا و هو فى دار المقامة معنا.
The most prosperous person is he who acknowledges our virtue, draws near to Allah through us, is sincere in his love for us, acts upon whatever we have recommended, and refrains from all that we have prohibited. He is indeed of us and will be with us in the place of everlasting abode.

The author of this book is Nasih al-Din Abu l-Fath 'Abd al-Wahid b. Muhammad b. 'Abd al-Wahid Tamimi al-Amidi (d. 510/1116-7)[1]. Very little is known about his life apart from that he was a judge from Amid (now Diyarbakır, Turkey).[2] He has written another book called Jawahir al-kalam fi al-hukm wa al-ahkam min qissat sayyid al-anam.
