رَحِمَ اللّهُ امرَأً عَلِمَ أنَّ نَفَسَهُ خُطاهُ إلى أجَلِهِ، فبادَرَ عَمَلَهُ وقَصَّرَ أمَلَهُ.

May Allah have mercy on the man who knows that his breaths are but his steps towards his death, so he hastens to perform good deeds and cuts...

فِي الْعَدْلِ الِاقْتِدَاءُ بِسُنَّةِ اللَّهِ وَ ثَبَاتُ الدُّوَلِ.

Maintaining justice by the rulers is adherence to the established way of God and leads to the stability of governments.

استَعِدّوا للمَوتِ فقد أظَلَّكُم، وكُونوا قَوما صِيحَ بِهِم فانتَبَهوا، وعَلِموا أنّ الدُّنيا لَيسَت لَهُم بدارٍ فاستَبدَلوا...

Prepare for death for it overshadows you, and be a group who when it screams at them they awaken, and know that the world is not their abode...

لَمْ يَتَحَلَّ بِالْقَنَاعَةِ مَنْ لَمْ يَكْتَفِ بِيَسِيرِ مَا وَجَدَ.

He who does not make do with the little he has at hand has not been adorned with contentment.

مَا الْمُبْتَلَى الَّذِى قَدِ اشْتَدَّ بِهِ الْبَلَاءُ بِأَحْوَجَ إِلَى الدُّعَاءِ الَّذِى لَا يَأْمَنُ الْبَلَاءَ

A person who is severely afflicted with a misfortune is not in greater need of praying than the one who has been spared from affliction but ...

أَكْبَرُ (أَكْثَرُ) الشَّرِّ فِي الِاسْتِخْفَافِ بِمُولِمِ عِظَةِ الْمُشْفِقِ النَّاصِحِ وَ الِاغْتِرَارِ بِحَلَاوَةِ ثَنَاءِ الْمَادِحِ الْكَاشِحِ.
