Imam Ali (as):

One of the noblest deeds of a kind person is feigning ignorance of that which he knows already.

صَلاحُ حالِ التَّعايُشِ والتَّعاشُرِ مِلْ ءُ مِكيالٍ: ثُلثاهُ فِطنَةٌ وثُلثُهُ تَغافُلٌ.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):

The proper way to maintain a state of coexistence and mutual intimacy with people resembles a full bowl, two thirds of whose contents is sagacity and one third is to feign ignorance of each others faults.
