Hadiths Of Laziness in Worship

الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السَّلام ):

مَن كَسِلَ عن طَهُورِهِ و صلاتِهِ فليسَ فيهِ خَيرٌ لِأمرِ آخرَتِهِ ، و مَن كَسِلَ عمّا يُصلِحُ بهِ أمرَ مَعيشَتِهِ فليسَ فيهِ خيرٌ لِأمرِ دنياهُ.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):

He who is lazy with the performance of his ritual purification and his prayer can attain nothing good regarding his Hereafter, and he who is lazy with undertaking that which improves his livelihood can bring about nothing good in his worldly life.

رسول الله (صلی الله علیه و آله):

إذا تَوَضّأَ العَبدُ تَحاطُّ عَنهُ ذُنوبُهُ‏ كما تَحاطُّ وَرَقُ هذهِ الشَّجَرَةِ.

The Prophet Muhammad (S):

When the servant performs the ablution, his sins shed away from him just as leaves shed from a tree.

رسول الله (صلی الله علیه و آله):

إذا تَوَضَّأَ الرّجُلُ المُسلِمُ خَرَجَتْ‏ خَطاياهُ مِن سَمعِهِ وبَصَرِهِ ويَدَيهِ ورِجلَيهِ، فإن قَعَدَ قَعَدَ مَغفورا لَهُ.

The Prophet Muhammad (S):

When the Muslim man performs the ablution, mistakes committed by his hearing, his sight, his hands and his feet leave him so that when he sits, he sits forgiven.
