لَا عَلَيْكَ أَنْ تَصْحَبَ ذَا الْعَقْلِ وَ إِنْ لَمْ تَحْمَدْ كَرَمَهُ وَ لَكِنِ انْتَفِعْ بِعَقْلِهِ وَ احْتَرِسْ مِنْ سَيِّئِ أَخْلَاقِه‏ .
Imam Ali (as):
You are not to blame if you sit in the company of a man of intellect even if you do not approve of his dignity. However, you should benefit from his intellect and make sure to be on your guard against his ill characteristics.

The Prophet Muhammad (S):
He who looks at a believer with a look that scares him, Allah, the most High, will scare him on the Day when no shade will avail except His Shade.

I swear by God that He does not punish a believer after his belief except because of his suspicious thoughts and his ill nature.
