الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):
يا مؤمنُ، إنّ هذا العِلْمَ والأدبَ ثَمَنُ نفسِكَ، فاجتَهِدْ في تَعلُّمِهِما، فما يَزيدُ مِن عِلمِكَ وأدبِكَ يَزيدُ في ثَمَنِكَ وقَدْرِكَ.
¡Oh creyente! Sabe que este conocimiento y buenos modales son el valor de tu alma, así que esfuérzate para aprenderlos, ya que cuanto más aumente tu conocimiento y tu cortesía, más aumentarán tu valor y tu rango.
