Imam Ali (as):
Beware of completely cutting off relations with your friend and excluding him from your amity, rather you should at least leave a place for him in your heart, so he can feel confidant enough to return to it one day.

The Prophet Muhammad (S):
No sooner do two Muslims forsake each other and stay like that for three days without reconciling, than they are regarded as having left Islam and there is no relation between them. However, Whoever of them precedes in speaking to his brother will precede entrance into Heaven on the Day of Judgment.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Satan continues to be happy as long as two Muslims forsake each other, and when they reconcile again his knees tremble and his joints break apart.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
A charitable act that Allah loves indeed is reconciling people when they have become estranged to one another, and bringing them close together when they have become distanced from each other.

The Prophet Muhammad (S):
Do not turn your backs to each other and do not cut ties amongst yourselves, and be servants of Allah as brothers. Deserting a believer [going into a sulk] for [more than] three days [is not allowed] and they must speak [thereafter], but if they do not, Allah Almighty turns away from them until they speak.
