RELATED HADITH

Imam Ali (as)

مَا مِنْ عَمَلٍ أَحَبَّ إِلَى اللَّهِ تَعَالَى مِنْ ضُرٍّ يَكْشِفُهُ رَجُلٌ عَنْ رَجُلٍ

There is not a good deed more beloved to God Almighty than one's removing distress from another man.

Imam Ali (as)

إذا رَغِبتَ في صَلاحِ نَفسِكَ فعلَيكَ بالاقتِصادِ و القُنوعِ و التَّقلُّلِ.

When you wish to improve yourself, then you must adopt economy, contentment and frugal living.

Imam Ali (as)

لَا تَحَاسَدُوا فَإِنَّ الْحَسَدَ يَأْكُلُ الْإِيمَانَ كَمَا تَأْكُلُ النَّارُ الْحَطَبَ.

Do not be jealous of one another for verily jealousy consumes faith just as fire consumes wood.

Imam Ali (as)

الغَضَبُ يُردِي صاحِبَهُ و يُبدِي مَعايِبَهُ

Anger destroys the one who gives way to it and exposes his faults.

Imam Ali (as)

لاتَدُلَّنَّ بِحالَة بَلَغْتَها بِغَيْرِ آلَة ، وَلاتَفْخِرَنَّ بِمَرْتَبـة نِلْتَها مِنْ غَيْرِ مَنْقَبَة ، فَإنَّ ما يَبْنيهِ الإتِّفاقُ يَهْدِمُهُ الاِسْتِحْقاقُ

Imam Ali (as)

إِذَا أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ عَبْداً بَغَّضَ إِلَيْهِ الْمَالَ وَ قَصَّرَ مِنْهُ الْآمَالَ.

When God -Glory be to Him- loves a person, He makes wealth contemptible to him and reduces his expectations.
