الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):
ما رأيتُ ظالِماً أشْبَهَ بمظلومٍ من الحاسِدِ؟ نَفَسٌ دائمٌ، وَ قَلبٌ هائمٌ، وَ حُزنٌ لازِمٌ
Je n ai vu de personne injuste qui soit aussi semblable à la personne victime d injustice que le jaloux : il a une âme fatiguée, un coeur affligé et un chagrin perpétuel.
